To go faster, first learn to go slow
To go faster, first learn to go slow.
To go faster, first learn to go slow.
In our modern, fast-paced world, urgent tasks constantly clamour for our attention.
It's all too easy to get swept away in the whirlwind and hurriedly race through everything.
But sometimes, the key to making real progress is to slow down, focus, and be more deliberate in our actions.

We actually practice going slower in our daily lives all the time.
- We wait before sipping freshly brewed coffee.
- We don't work the moment we wake.
- We stay in bed when unwell.
So why do we rush about helter-skelter in so many other areas?

It's important to not just have the head knowledge, but to actively apply it.
- Rest when physically tired.
- Spend time praying when anxious.
- Take an extended break when you grow weary.

Rushing into things without a plan will only lead to mistakes and setbacks. Instead, invest time in self-reflection and building a strong foundation.
Speed will come naturally.
Finally, be sure to consider if something is even worth doing. To know the truth worth of a task, look at it on a scale of years or decades, not days.
What are you working on today?
